"Until She Stops Screaming" - Cover Art Reveal

Hello, everyone! Are you ready for 2019, the year of Elizabeth Harper?

I’m super thrilled to finally reveal to you the cover art to my next novel, “Until She Stops Screaming,” which is slated for early 2019! So, check it out below, and meet me further below for a little more info on what next year will hold for me (book wise)!

"Being undercover's hard. You've got nothing and no-one you usually turn to. No creature comforts, no friends, no family, no pets. You're isolated. Vulnerable. Aone." Investigative reporter Elizabeth Harper is on her own for the first time. From the onset of her career, blog- centric, low-impact investigations were the order of the day. Thin, spur of the moment inquiries that paid nothing and meant less. Puzzles so obvious she could solve them in her sleep. Until the Seattle Searcher came calling, charging her with the task of posing as a student on a Washington college campus in order to get to the bottom of a coverup. The seeming erasure of a string of violent sexual assaults. Crimes that began making waves locally, then disappeared all together. Though her work starts smoothly enough, the deeper Elizabeth digs, the more it seems all paths lead down a hard road; One with a toll that may cost her something far greater than she's willing to invest. But if you have nobody, who do you turn to when things go sour? Where can you look but within?

But if you have nobody, who do you turn to when things go sour?

Where can you look but within?

Excited yet? I certainly am! This is one of the books I’ve been champing at the bit to write, and now that it’s done (other than editing, which won’t take too long) I can hardly believe it.

On top of giving long-term readers their first novel’s worth of Elizabeth Harper narration, this book also serves as a great starting point for new readers, coming earlier in her life than many of the other stories already available. So, it’s a little something for everyone.

Before this one launches, however, I still have two more chapters of the current, free to read, lead-in novelette, “Blogging The Harper Way 2” coming the first Fridays of January and February, respectively. I also have a second, full-length Elizabeth Harper book coming, titled “Someone To Pull The Trigger,” which is a retelling of 2017’s “Bully For You” through Elizabeth Harper’s eyes. I’ll talk more about the reasoning for that at a later date however.

But, fret not, Reggie Harper fans (all three of you)! I also have a Reggie book coming later in 2019, which, again, I’ll talk more about in the months ahead.

2019 is going to be pretty packed for me. On top of these books, I’ll continue sniping away at my children’s/YA magical girl novel “Rabbit Ears” as well as finally earnestly beginning the process of bringing the first, three book ‘HARPER mysteries’ story arc to an absolutely explosive finale you don’t want to miss!

I think that about does it for now. I hope you’ve enjoyed the new cover (it went through a ton of iteration) and this little update, and I hope you’ve been enjoying if “Blogging The Harper Way 2” if you’ve had the chance to read it, and that you’ve had a good time getting acquainted with Elizabeth Harper.

For now, I’m off to take a week or so off of heavy work before diving in to finish the editing/beta/re-editing process for “Until She Stops Screaming”!

Take care, and, as always, thank you so much for reading!

Sincerely,
- Dan Burley
